Hello Ciprian, In response to your question, you should not have any issues with your entry, as you have only let your FMM expire on one occasion. However, please keep in mind that immigration agents have the discretion to determine your entry into the country. They may also decide the length of your stay if they are not convinced that you are visiting for vacation purposes only. I hope this information is helpful for you. Best Regards.

Hello everyone

I have been for the first time last year in December 2023 in Mexico and I thought I'll be allowed straight away 180 which didn't happen and I found about rhe stamp they put in my passport with few days before to leave on 8 Feb 2024 which I been allowed only 20 days, from my research that means I've overstayed

My question it is :: Will I have any trouble when I'll try to get back to Mexico or will I be denied entry because of this??

Thank you for any response!

Hello Timothy, The duration of your stay in Mexico depends on several factors. As a tourist, you are allowed to stay for up to 180 days. However, if you wish to apply for temporary residency, there are various options available. We will send more information directly to your email.
